Team Lead - Transmission

Location: Fully remote or local/in-office in Lakewood, Colorado; applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States. Some field work and 5–15% travel are required.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead teams of engineers, drafters, designers, technicians, and administrative staff across small- to large-scale transmission projects.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee project work while assigning responsibilities across the team.
• Perform and manage detailed designs for overhead transmission and distribution lines.
• Produce and review complete design packages, including plan and profile drawings, pole assemblies, grounding and guying details, structural designs, foundations, and calculation packages.
• Review technical work for quality and accuracy, provide engineering support and training, and manage team member development.
• Support cost estimates, budgets, proposals, client communications, business development, and marketing activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering or relevant field experience.
• BSCE or BSCET from an accredited institution; civil/structural or mechanical specialization preferred.
• FE or PE preferred.
• Strong written and verbal command of English.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Expertise with PLS-CADD and proficiency with AutoCAD.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of optimum spotter and finite spotter.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and steel, wood, and concrete design.
