What you will do

• Manage teams of engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure the accurate and timely completion of transmission scopes.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination for small to large scale projects.
• Perform and manage detailed design of overhead transmission and distribution lines.
• Produce and review full design packages, including plan and profile drawings, structure loading diagrams, and foundation details.
• Develop and implement department Standard Best Practices (SBPs).
• Mentor and coach team members through individualized development plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering or relevant field experience.
• BSCE or BSCET from an accredited institution (civil/structural or mechanical option preferred).
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Expert proficiency with PLS-CADD.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal command of the English language.

Nice to have

• FE or PE licensure.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, including steel, wood, and concrete design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
