What you will do

• Design complex mining truck drive systems integrating hardware and software.
• Develop simulation tools for drive-system architecture, performance, thermal response, dynamic response, motor control, and battery DC-DC converters.
• Support circuit simulations and complex material specifications for system components.
• Analyze competitive equipment features, operating costs, performance, and total cost of ownership.
• Provide expert technical recommendations across business units and support the development of advanced product features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 5–8 years of experience in a related engineering field.
• Demonstrable expertise in designing or simulating electric drive systems and related components, with in-depth knowledge of drive-system theory and operation.
• Proficiency in Simulink, MATLAB, PSIM, and PSCAD.
• Experience leading development projects, taking ownership, and delivering projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; willingness to travel internationally up to 5–10% of working time.
