Salary: $75,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do
- Perform detailed design of substation electrical power systems including one-line diagrams, schematics, and grounding.
- Develop protective relay settings and perform power system studies such as short circuit, load flow, and arc flash analysis.
- Prepare project documentation, cost estimates, and budget reports.
- Provide field assistance and troubleshooting for utility and industrial projects.
- Check the work of designers and drafters for quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project deliverables meet technical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
- 1–5 years of relevant engineering or field experience.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Familiarity with substation electrical design and relevant codes and standards.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform occasional field work.
Nice to have
- FE or PE licensure.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Electric power option in degree program.
