What you will do

• Lead the regional data center commissioning practice, managing business strategy, financial targets, and team development.
• Drive business development by developing proposals and building relationships with hyperscalers, colo operators, and general contractors.
• Oversee large-scale commissioning programs for mechanical systems, electrical infrastructure, and integrated facility systems.
• Develop commissioning plans and pre-operational readiness protocols, including FAT/SAT and first-power protocols.
• Build, hire, and mentor a high-performing team of commissioning engineers.
• Establish operational standards and track key performance metrics such as project profitability and schedule risk.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in data center commissioning, operations engineering, or mission-critical facilities infrastructure.
• 5+ years of leadership and management experience within data center or mission-critical environments.
• Proven track record commissioning mechanical systems at scale (chilled water loops, CRAC/CRAH, UPS/battery banks).
• Hands-on electrical systems knowledge including PDU architecture and power distribution validation.
• Deep expertise with Uptime Institute and ASHRAE commissioning standards.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the United States.

Nice to have

• PE license in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• NICET certification (Levels III or IV) in HVAC or electrical systems.
• Experience with hyperscale data center specifications (Meta, Google, AWS, Microsoft).
• Background in controls engineering (BACnet, direct digital controls).
• Experience with Uptime Institute Tier III/IV standards.
