Senior Mechanical Engineer (Data Center)

Location: Full-time, on-site in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States

What you will do

• Provide on-site technical leadership for large-scale data center projects.
• Represent the owner and coordinate with design consultants, contractors, commissioning teams, and project stakeholders.
• Review mechanical designs, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Conduct field inspections and support constructability reviews.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure mechanical systems meet project requirements through testing and turnover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of experience supporting large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, cooling systems, piping, and related mechanical infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing designs, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
