TL;DR
Federal Markets Instructional Designer (E-learning/ILT): Designing and leading learning programs and content for federal government customers, with an accent on instructional design, quality management, and trainer enablement. Location: Remote within the United States; must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a T3 Public Trust government background check. Up to 10% domestic travel may be required. Relocation assistance is not authorized, and initial on-site onboarding travel may be required.
Salary: $96,000–$132,000 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do
- Lead program design, data collection, prioritization, and development of initial classes and evaluations.
- Define instructional best practices, baseline requirements, grading rubrics, and quality standards.
- Coordinate learning content developers and manage deliverables across projects.
- Support trainers, instructional designers, and administrators during program implementation.
- Design learning experiences for federal government customers and relevant healthcare software solutions.
- Follow corporate policies, security standards, professional requirements, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least five years of instructional design experience, or a high school diploma/GED and at least 11 years of instructional design experience.
- At least three years of experience designing and developing e-learning and instructor-led training.
- At least two years of experience developing learning content for the federal government.
- At least five years of leading projects with varied scope across functional teams or within an area of expertise.
- Must be located in the United States, be a U.S. citizen, and pass a T3 Public Trust government background check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience with course authoring tools such as Storyline, Camtasia, or AuthorIt.
- Experience training trainers and writing training guides.
- Experience developing training for 360 Encompass and other software solutions.
- Training in adult education, organizational learning, educational technology, instructional design, or a related field.
- Experience designing learning for major technologies and platforms.
