Federal Markets Instructional Designer

TL;DR

Salary: $96,000–$132,000 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead program design, data collection, prioritization, and development of initial classes and evaluations.
• Define instructional best practices, baseline requirements, grading rubrics, and quality standards.
• Coordinate learning content developers and manage deliverables across projects.
• Support trainers, instructional designers, and administrators during program implementation.
• Design learning experiences for federal government customers and relevant healthcare software solutions.
• Follow corporate policies, security standards, professional requirements, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least five years of instructional design experience, or a high school diploma/GED and at least 11 years of instructional design experience.
• At least three years of experience designing and developing e-learning and instructor-led training.
• At least two years of experience developing learning content for the federal government.
• At least five years of leading projects with varied scope across functional teams or within an area of expertise.
• Must be located in the United States, be a U.S. citizen, and pass a T3 Public Trust government background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with course authoring tools such as Storyline, Camtasia, or AuthorIt.
• Experience training trainers and writing training guides.
• Experience developing training for hirify.global 360 Encompass and other software solutions.
• Training in adult education, organizational learning, educational technology, instructional design, or a related field.
• Experience designing learning for major technologies and platforms.
