Counselor (CADC)

Location: On-site in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Schedule: 5:00am–1:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $25.00–$28.00 per hour plus bonus structure.

What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling and group sessions.
• Orient patients to treatment program operations and procedures.
• Collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information.
• Develop and update treatment plans, maintain patient records, and provide intake and readmission services.
• Make referrals, coordinate care with community providers, and provide follow-up counseling.
• Deliver crisis intervention, OBOT services, staff training, and required regulatory documentation.

Requirements

• Current CADC-I or CADC certification and compliance with applicable state licensure requirements.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field, as required by the state.
• Knowledge of substance use populations, treatment planning, human behavior, and social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions involving confidential and sensitive matters.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in stressful situations and seek supervisory guidance when needed.
• Behavioral health experience is preferred but not required.
