Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC)

Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA; fully on-site

Salary: $27.00–$36.00 per hour plus bonus structure

What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling, group sessions, intake, and readmission services.
• Assess patients’ social, educational, economic, and vocational needs.
• Develop and revise treatment plans and maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Provide referrals, follow-up counseling, crisis intervention, and supportive services.
• Coordinate care with community providers and perform OBOT services.
• Follow program procedures, regulatory requirements, and accrediting standards while supporting training and program improvements.

Requirements

• Active LADC, ADC, or ADC-T license or certification in Minnesota is required.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment planning, human behavior, and social services.
• Ability to make effective decisions involving confidential and sensitive issues.
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in stressful situations and seek supervisory guidance when needed.
• Compliance with federal and state requirements for certification, licensure, and education.
• Behavioral health experience is preferred but not required.
