Founding Web Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in the hirify.global office in Brooklyn, New York

Salary: $190K–$250K annually, plus 0.2%–0.9% equity and a housing subsidy.

hirify.global builds secure Action & Agent infrastructure for custom AI workflows used by enterprises and institutions in healthcare, government, finance, cybersecurity, and other domains.

What you will do

• Own stability, scalability, and security as the product expands and more customers are onboarded.
• Build reliable synchronization of billions of records from customer SaaS tools into the data platform.
• Contribute to architecture, design decisions, code quality, and product quality strategy.
• Work directly with customers and the go-to-market team to solve complex technical problems.
• Take end-to-end ownership of core products across frontend, backend, AI/ML, and cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and help raise engineering standards across the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building high-quality software.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including architecture, abstractions, performance, reliability, and complexity management.
• Experience working across TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Vue; experience with the exact stack is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work across frontend and backend, or deep expertise in frontend engineering.
• Experience helping engineering teams scale through abstractions, systems, tools, and processes.
• Ability to work on-site in Brooklyn, New York.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP or building AI agents.
• Experience with React, Next.js, Tailwind, Temporal, PostgreSQL, OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Gemini, Milvus, Qdrant, AWS, Terraform, Helm, or Kubernetes.
