Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Menlo Park, California, United States; hybrid

Salary: $200,000–$287,500 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features and platform infrastructure for user onboarding, trial activation, product discovery, and engagement.
• Build React and TypeScript experiences, including onboarding flows, contextual prompts, starter workflows, and interactive components for Cortex Code.
• Develop and scale backend services for account provisioning, learning environments, trial activation, and anti-abuse safeguards.
• Drive product-led growth initiatives and experimentation from hypothesis development and test implementation through metric analysis.
• Analyze user behavior and platform telemetry to evaluate adoption, guide architecture, and improve product experiences.
• Participate in technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, operations, code reviews, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building large-scale distributed or user-facing production systems across frontend and backend.
• Experience with React and TypeScript, plus backend development in Go, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or feature-flagging workflows.
• Experience with SQL, product telemetry, distributed systems, REST or gRPC APIs, relational databases, or data platforms.
• Strong coding, debugging, product thinking, collaboration, and communication skills.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
