Full Stack Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $185,200–$326,800 USD per year, depending on U.S. compensation zone

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, ship, and maintain features for transaction and entity-labeling platforms.
• Build microservice and event-driven systems that process sensitive customer and financial data reliably.
• Improve transaction data coverage, quality, searchability, and usability for compliance investigators, analysts, and automated systems.
• Create self-serve tools and high-volume ingestion pipelines for product onboarding and entity labeling.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, and product teams to turn regulatory and business requirements into reusable platform capabilities.
• Own operational responsibilities including on-call support, incident response, and postmortems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering production software end to end across design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Experience working across backend services and user-facing interfaces.
• Demonstrated AI fluency, including responsible use and critical evaluation of AI-powered developer tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in the Bay Area, California, United States for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience building platforms or self-serve tools for other engineering teams.
• Experience with search systems, data modeling, or large-scale bulk data ingestion.
• Experience handling sensitive data such as PII and PCI or meeting privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience integrating LLMs or agents into production workflows.
• Interest in compliance or financial technology.
