Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack Mastermind)

Location: Fully remote anywhere in the US, with occasional travel to the Glendale, Arizona headquarters for team gatherings.

Salary: $200,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Own features end to end across front-end interfaces, APIs, business logic, databases, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Design and build scalable Node.js and TypeScript services, APIs, and data models.
• Build reliable and maintainable user experiences with a strong understanding of supporting systems and data.
• Use AI-assisted development and coding agents to improve engineering speed, quality, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Build AI-powered product capabilities using LLMs, retrieval, agents, and intelligent automation.
• Improve performance, scalability, security, observability, and production reliability while mentoring engineers and collaborating with Product, QA, and Support.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of production software.
• Genuine full-stack experience across browser applications, APIs, databases, infrastructure, and third-party integrations.
• Production-scale Node.js and TypeScript experience building well-designed APIs and services.
• Deep relational database expertise, including schema design, SQL optimization, performance diagnosis, data integrity, and concurrency.
• Daily experience with AI-assisted development, coding agents, evaluation, testing, and engineering judgment.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; student visas are not accepted and visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Vue.js, React, or Angular experience and browser-side application architecture.
• Systems design, event-driven systems, distributed systems, messaging, queues, caching, and Redis.
• Docker, AWS ECS/EKS, Kubernetes, observability, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• AI product development with LLM APIs, tool calling, RAG, embeddings, vector search, structured outputs, or agents.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
