DevOps Engineer - Engineering Tools and Services

Location: Morrisville, North Carolina, United States; hybrid work with in-office and/or in-person expectations.

Salary: $113,050–$168,300 USD, with the final offer based on location, qualifications, experience, and education.

What you will do

• Support collaborative development tools, services, modules, and applications used by software and operations engineers.
• Administer and integrate source code management, project tracking, code security, artifact repository, and collaboration tools.
• Promote DevOps and Agile best practices by partnering with developers and managers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Implement tooling and integrations that strengthen platform and customer security.
• Manage stakeholders and external interfaces while collaborating across business functions and time zones.
• Handle incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based infrastructure and DevOps tool administration.
• Programming experience with Python, Go, Java, and Bash shell scripting.
• Working knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB databases.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, GitHub or Bitbucket, and Splunk or Logscale.
• Understanding of secure development lifecycle, system security best practices, DevOps principles, Agile practices, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
