HPC DevOps Engineer (NetApp)

Location: On-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, or at the additional US locations in Phoenix, Arizona, and Santa Clara, California

Annual salary: $100,550–$194,270 USD

What you will do

• Plan, manage, and optimize enterprise NAS, S3, and backup solutions, including Veeam and SnapVault.
• Design and implement scalable storage and backup infrastructure modifications.
• Document configuration changes and enforce policies for provisioning, uptime, data protection, and backup integrity.
• Track usage and forecast growth, manage data migrations, and optimize storage performance.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, maintain data integrity, and oversee daily storage operations and hardware maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• Experience with a large enterprise NAS environment: 1+ year with a bachelor’s degree or 0 years with a master’s degree.
• Experience with NetApp storage protocols, including one or more of NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, or FCP.
• Experience automating, troubleshooting, and maintaining Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripts.
• Experience with NetApp FAS or AFF storage devices.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of experience as a Project Manager leading infrastructure-related projects.
