DevOps Engineer - $20K Sign-On Bonus - 29266 (AWS)

Location: On-site in Augusta, Georgia, United States, five days a week on the customer site

Salary: $100,173–$140,000 per year; $20,000 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Develop and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure and non-cloud edge infrastructure for on-premise and portable equipment.
• Automate deployment processes and maintain reliable, scalable, and highly available services.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Integrate applications with infrastructure in collaboration with development teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve complex issues.
• Improve infrastructure processes, tools, performance, and availability.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph and U.S. citizenship required.
• 5+ years of DevOps or software development experience with a related bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, AWS services, application and OS deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management.
• Ability to develop with Python, Bash, or Go; familiarity with Git and Flux.
• Must be able to work full-time, 40 hours per week, on the Augusta customer site. DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification such as Security+ is required or must be obtained before starting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, or Presto.
• Experience with EKS, Diode, CI/CD, Terraform, big data platforms, or data lake architectures.
