Senior Electrical Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead electrical design for healthcare, life sciences, commercial, and other complex building projects.
• Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution, panel schedules, layouts, circuiting, controls, one-line diagrams, and lighting systems.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop, arc flash, and circuit breaker coordination studies.
• Develop electrical specifications, construction cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Conduct job site observations and quality control activities.
• Collaborate with project leads, clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams while mentoring emerging engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year college or university.
• At least 10 years of MEP industry design experience; healthcare or similar project experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and electrical design principles.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power Tools, ETAP or Easy Power, AGI32, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong collaboration, communication, judgment, initiative, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional Engineer licensure is preferred.
