Senior Electrical Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role based in Lakewood, Colorado, USA; travel up to 5%.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead electrical system design for healthcare, life sciences, commercial, and other complex building projects.
• Design medium- and low-voltage power systems, including panel schedules, layouts, circuiting, controls, one-line diagrams, and distribution systems.
• Design lighting systems and develop electrical specifications and construction cost estimates.
• Perform load calculations, voltage-drop, arc-flash, and circuit-breaker coordination studies.
• Use electrical modeling and design tools, conduct job-site observations, and perform quality-control tasks.
• Coordinate with project leads, clients, contractors, other disciplines, and production staff while mentoring emerging engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical design and project leadership experience, preferably in the MEP industry.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power Tools, ETAP or Easy Power, AGI32, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and electrical modeling software.
• Professional Engineer licensure is preferred.
• Effective communication, judgment, initiative, interpersonal, motivational, and collaborative skills.
