Team Lead SMD & PCBA

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands; on-site two-shift schedule

What you will do

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the SMD production team to achieve daily production objectives.
• Monitor production progress, adjust execution, and report performance to management.
• Optimize the deployment of personnel, machines, and materials to meet production planning targets.
• Conduct performance and development reviews and manage people-related processes, including performance management and sick leave.
• Participate in recruiting and selecting new employees.
• Drive product quality, quality improvements for complex products, 5S implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• MBO+ level in Technical or Industrial Engineering, gained through education or experience.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team.
• Hands-on mindset and proactive approach to solving challenges.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make well-informed decisions, including confidence in making decisions when required.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to recognize and utilize the strengths of team members.
• Strong quality mindset and knowledge of quality processes.
• Willingness to work in a two-shift schedule.
