PLM & Digital Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Define and drive the Digital Engineering, Digital Thread, and PLM strategy, roadmap, governance, and capabilities.
• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of PLM and engineering systems.
• Integrate PLM with ERP, cost management, CAD/EDA, and other enterprise platforms.
• Optimize requirements, BOM, configuration, release, and engineering change management processes in line with V-Model and ASPICE practices.
• Lead global initiatives involving Engineering, IT, software vendors, and implementation partners.
• Build internal capabilities through expert support, coaching, training, knowledge transfer, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Digital Engineering, PLM, Engineering Systems, or Engineering Transformation.
• Strong knowledge of EBOM, Configuration Management, Release Management, and Engineering Change processes.
• Experience implementing or supporting PLM solutions and integrations with ERP, cost management, CAD/EDA, and other enterprise systems.
• Understanding of multidisciplinary product development across Software, Hardware, and Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and international project leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, Polarion, IBM DOORS, Digital Thread, V-Model/ASPICE, Functional Safety, Product Cybersecurity, or automotive engineering environments.
