Commissioning Teamlead

Location: Kinderdijk, Netherlands; international travel to shipyards for extended periods is required

Salary: €4,700–€7,270 gross per month, plus 8% holiday allowance and a monthly compensation for time spent abroad.

hirify.global delivers dredging and offshore vessels and supports shipyards through commissioning, final handover, and delivery.

What you will do

• Act as hirify.global’s technical representative at international shipyards.
• Prepare, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for all technical systems on board newly built vessels.
• Analyse technical specifications, ITPs, drawings, manuals, and test protocols.
• Develop detailed commissioning plans together with the project planner.
• Supervise and guide commissioning work performed by subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure testing, validation, quality, safety, customer requirements, and delivery planning are met.

Requirements

• Degree in shipbuilding, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on commissioning engineering experience with strong leadership capability.
• Experience with offshore and/or dredging vessels is advantageous.
• Fluent English is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for longer periods.
