Staff Professional Services Consultant (IC4) – Accounting Onboarding

Location: Covina, California, United States; hybrid. Telecommuting available.

Salary: $97,000–$119,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead complex accounting onboarding and professional services projects for strategic Mid-Market, SME, and Enterprise customers.
• Configure financial workflows, owner statements, reporting, and automation solutions according to customer financial and operational needs.
• Serve as the North America accounting onboarding escalation and best-practices lead, supporting core and accounting implementations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and CX teams to resolve product and accounting workflow issues.
• Build executive customer relationships, manage risks, and ensure onboarding milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met.
• Mentor junior PSCs and NAM team members and lead cross-functional initiatives that standardize workflows and improve scalability.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in accounting, onboarding, finance, or operations-related roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in SaaS accounting onboarding or financial operations.
• At least 2 years of experience with accounting principles, reconciliation workflows, and SaaS financial systems.
• At least 2 years of experience managing accounting onboarding projects and standardizing workflows to create scalable processes.
• At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce, Jira, Zendesk, Modjo, Chili Piper, and Mixmax.
• At least 2 years of experience acting as a liaison or escalation lead for product issues and accounting workflows.
• At least 2 years of experience adapting technical language for non-technical audiences.
