Transportation Execution Manager

TL;DR
Transportation Execution Manager (Supply Chain/Transportation): Leading sub-regional transportation operations across fulfillment centers, carriers, and vendors with an accent on load planning, yard management, transload operations, and Oracle Transportation Management data accuracy. Focus on optimizing cost and service performance, resolving third-party defects through metrics and programs, and executing cross-functional transportation improvements.
Location: Plantation, Florida, United States; available in multiple locations. Weekend shift: Thursday–Monday or Saturday–Wednesday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM EST, with occasional overnight shifts.

What you will do
- Lead transportation operations across a sub-region, including fulfillment centers, carriers, and vendors.
- Own transportation cost, service quality, and adherence to operating standards.
- Optimize load planning, yard management, transload operations, and data accuracy in Oracle Transportation Management.
- Partner with internal teams, carriers, and vendors to resolve operational issues and improve performance.
- Use metrics and analytics to identify service and cost defects and implement corrective actions through WBR, PIP, and RTS programs.
- Develop and execute transportation strategies and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in transportation, supply chain, or logistics, focused on process improvement and performance management.
- Strong experience with Oracle Transportation Management or a similar transportation management system.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
- Carrier and vendor relationship management experience with strong communication skills.
- Basic SQL skills, data-driven problem solving, and metrics reporting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Tableau or other data visualization experience.
- Hands-on experience in transload and yard management operations.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail transportation environments.
