Transportation Operations Supervisor (Customer Onsite)

What you will do

• Execute day-to-day transportation operations and project management activities within a global transportation team.
• Coordinate projects, create work plans and milestones, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Track shipments, manage delivery issues, and coordinate solutions with warehouses, carriers, vendors, and service providers.
• Monitor carrier performance, operational metrics, reporting, cost-saving initiatives, consolidation, and on-time performance.
• Document and update SOPs, SWIs, and processes to support customer requirements.
• Lead task- and project-oriented meetings and present performance results to vendors and customers.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of transportation and logistics experience and 1 year of warehousing experience.
• Experience leading projects and driving continuous process improvement.
• Experience with air, road, ocean, and dedicated or white-glove transportation movements.
• Experience with people management, including hiring, development, and performance management.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills; comfortable leading customer and vendor meetings.
• Working knowledge of warehousing and transportation operations, import and export processes, and G Suite or an equivalent platform.

Nice to have

• BA/BS in supply chain, transportation, logistics operations, or equivalent experience.
• IATA certification.
