Forecast Planner

Location: Hybrid role supporting New York/New Jersey operations; working hours align with field locations and include weekend and holiday coverage when business demands require it.

Salary: $96,000–$108,000 per year for New York/New Jersey; geographic-specific salary structures apply.

What you will do

• Build visibility into and monitor the health and performance of end-to-end planning systems.
• Manage complex supply chain problems with cross-functional technical and non-technical partners.
• Identify external demand drivers and adjust forecasting and planning processes accordingly.
• Run daily diagnostics on forecasting metrics, identify breaches, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Improve service levels, in-stock performance, waste, and supplier performance.
• Support long-term buying plans, supply chain network design, and the development of supply chain technology platforms.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations, procurement, demand planning, and/or vendor management.
• 2+ years of experience measuring forecast performance, preferably across multiple supply chain nodes.
• 2+ years of cross-functional experience with technology and non-technology teams.
• 2+ years of defining project requirements and using data and metrics to improve operations.
• Advanced SQL, advanced Excel, and business intelligence tool proficiency are required; Looker is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in a quantitatively rigorous field; strong mathematical aptitude is required for the interview process.

Nice to have

• Experience in direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, fresh food, or food industry supply chain operations.
• Experience with Looker.
