What you will do

• Lead the overall code analysis and reverse engineering workstream for mainframe modernization programs.
• Analyze complex legacy applications to identify business processes, functionality, and technical dependencies.
• Provide SME guidance on IBM Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and IMS.
• Collaborate with customer SMEs and architects through technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Produce detailed analysis reports, dependency matrices, and modernization recommendations for leadership.
• Support application decomposition and target-state architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development, Modernization, and Legacy System Analysis.
• Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, and VSAM.
• Deep understanding of both batch and online processing environments.
• Proven experience with code analysis, reverse engineering, and application discovery tools.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and application modernization methodologies.
