Location: Hybrid work with two office days per week in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal. Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit, is required.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize COBOL mainframe applications in production environments.
• Design and execute IBM DB2 relational database queries and manage data access from COBOL programs.
• Write and manage JCL to define and execute mainframe batch jobs.
• Work with COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL solutions to meet production-quality standards.
• Collaborate with consulting and client teams to deliver reliable technical solutions.

Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience as a COBOL Developer.
• Professional proficiency in COBOL for mainframe application development and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of IBM DB2 and JCL.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit, with availability to work from the Lisbon or Porto office twice per week.
