• Develop, test, and support Mainframe Database solutions using Agile practices.
• Collaborate within an Agile team to translate business requirements into high-quality, testable code.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Engage in iteration planning, refinement, and sprint reviews to deliver stories and tasks.
• Interact directly with customers for support issues, demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
• Drive improvements in efficiency, security, and product quality through industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience (or Master's with 3+ years).
• Heavy experience in software development using IBM Assembler on z/OS systems.
• Experience with Source Code Management tools such as Endevor and GitHub.
• Proficiency in Agile software development methodology.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be based in the USA (Plano, TX).

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL on mainframe databases like IDMS, Datacom, or DB2.
• Knowledge of TSO/ISPF and experience reading system dumps.
• Proficiency in Metal C, COBOL, ISPF, REXX, JCL, C, or C++.
• Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Rally) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, test automation).
• Advanced debugging skills using tools like XDC.
