What you will do

• Manage a production department focusing on safety, quality, reliability, and cost reduction.
• Drive continuous improvement using Kaizen tools to eliminate waste and achieve "true north".
• Implement a pull system using one-piece-flow to produce based on customer demand (takt time).
• Ensure zero-defect quality standards and maintain ISO 9000 certification compliance.
• Spend 80% of time on the shop floor to provide direct coaching and process optimization.
• Oversee staffing, selection, and professional development of direct labor employees.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of successful supervisory experience in an operations environment.
• Proven track record in a leadership role directing the work of others.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO quality systems fundamentals.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to use office automation and communication software.
