What you will do

• Supervise welders and fabricators on the night shift, prioritizing tasks to meet production deadlines.
• Oversee MIG welding operations on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
• Interpret blueprints and welding symbols to ensure fabricated parts meet dimensional tolerances.
• Conduct visual weld inspections and implement corrective actions to reduce rework and defects.
• Enforce workplace safety policies, PPE requirements, and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality departments to improve overall workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of MIG welding and metal fabrication experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in interpreting blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
• Experience with welding inspection and quality standards (e.g., EN 1090, ISO 3834).
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• AWS welding certifications.
