What you will do

• Serve as the subject matter expert for medication-related EHR design, clinical workflows, regulatory compliance, and adoption of best practices.
• Support the ongoing development of Orinoco as an electronic health record.
• Maintain and optimize e-prescribing functionality and integrations with Surescripts and Medi-Span.
• Manage medication information mapping tools across the platform.
• Lead clinical testing, certifications, and systems integration testing with engineering teams and LLM agents.
• Bridge clinical practice, engineering, and integration needs to improve medication documentation, prescribing, monitoring, and patient safety.

Requirements

• Experience in the US healthcare IT industry with healthcare information systems and electronic health records.
• Understanding of applicable healthcare laws and regulations and the ability to ensure organizational compliance.
• Working knowledge of clinical vocabularies including RxNorm, SNOMED CT, and NDC.
• Proficiency with e-prescribing standards and technologies, including HL7 and XML.
• State licensure in good standing at application time in a state where Devoted practices.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, independent-work, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Medi-Span or Surescripts products, NCPDP standards, and pharmacy claims transmission.
• PharmD with four years of clinical experience and two years of dedicated informatics experience, ideally in an ambulatory setting.
