Forward Deployed Engineer (London)

Location: London; hybrid workplace. Regular travel to creator offices and venues is required, usually for one to two weeks at a time, with some trips booked at short notice.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales on complex enterprise deals through technical discovery, requirements scoping, commercial-case development, solution narratives, and tailored product demonstrations.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery for enterprise creators from scoping through go-live, including discovery, system mapping, integration design, and implementation.
• Build and configure integrations and workflows using hirify.global’s open API and app framework; scope larger work for agency partners or the engineering team.
• Coordinate agency and internal engineering delivery, managing scope, quality, timelines, and API extensions for enterprise requirements.
• Work on site with creator teams during kickoffs, build reviews, and go-live, then hand over live accounts with clear documentation to Customer Success.
• Maintain deep platform expertise, provide structured product feedback, identify account opportunities, support RFPs, write technical playbooks, and test new features.

Requirements

• Experience in a client-facing technical role at a B2B SaaS company, such as solutions engineering, solutions consulting, implementation, or forward deployed engineering, including owning complex delivery end to end with a customer team.
• Experience running discovery with non-technical teams and converting findings into a scoped plan.
• Comfort with web platforms, frontend code, REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication, with the ability to build and test an integration independently.
• Ability to adapt communication to different audiences and explain how technical decisions affect revenue and growth.
• Willingness to travel regularly, sometimes at short notice.
• Curiosity about how businesses operate, strong platform-learning ability, and a preference for providing definitive technical answers.
• Self-direction, comfort with ambiguity, and confidence in prioritising and context-switching as the pipeline changes.

Nice to have

• Experience in travel, hospitality, events, ticketing, or commerce.
• Experience managing delivery through agency partners or contractors.
• Experience supporting enterprise pre-sales or RFP responses.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as GA4 and CRM or marketing integrations such as Klaviyo.
• Comfort with Git, deployment workflows, and working in a shared engineering codebase.
• Experience using AI and automation tools to speed up delivery.
