Salary: $105,000–$135,000 annually

What you will do
- Lead planning, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and lifecycle sustainment of the Cloud Data Pipeline in designated cloud environments.
- Oversee data ingestion and sharing capabilities between source and recipient systems.
- Drive use of Confluent and Apache Kafka to consolidate data and improve enterprise accessibility.
- Provide expert troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and system configuration support.
- Enforce data integrity, security, accessibility, configuration, operational, and lifecycle standards.
- Author technical blueprints, establish engineering guidance, and mentor junior staff.
Requirements
- High school education with 9+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE or CySA+.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Advanced programming and scripting skills in Java, .NET, or Python.
- Expert knowledge of systems engineering, requirements analysis, configuration management, and systems architecture.
- Production-level experience architecting, configuring, or managing Confluent and Apache Kafka ecosystems, plus eligibility for the USCG Privileged User Management Program Process.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard or Department of Homeland Security programs.
- Enterprise cloud architecture experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Pipeline automation and container orchestration experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
