Senior IT Systems Administrator (AI)

Location: Remote, based in the United States

Salary: $95,000–$179,000 base pay per year, plus equity opportunities

What you will do

• Administer the corporate identity platform, including Okta, SSO, authentication, access controls, provisioning, and user lifecycle automation.
• Maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across networks, servers, firewalls, applications, cloud services, and endpoint platforms.
• Manage Jamf and Intune configurations, security policies, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Build automation with code and no-code tools to reduce manual work and improve operational consistency.
• Maintain SOX compliance controls, technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and end-user guides.
• Partner with Security, DevOps, HR, and IT leadership on infrastructure improvements, special projects, and confidential investigations.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with network infrastructure troubleshooting, AWS, enterprise Okta implementations, SAML/OAuth, SCIM/JIT, Jamf, and Intune.
• Working knowledge of least privilege, secure design, data protection, cloud platforms, IaaS, and platform administration.
• Experience with automation tools and technologies including Okta Workflows, webhooks, APIs, AWS Lambda or Cloud Functions, Python, Bash/Zsh, and PowerShell.
• Experience with Terraform, Git, GitHub, change management, and defining IT processes and best practices.
• Must be based in the United States; the role is remote. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Experience scaling IT systems during significant organizational growth or mergers and acquisitions.
• Experience using AI tools or AI-assisted approaches to solve IT and business problems.
• Experience implementing SOX, NIST, or ISO compliance and security controls.
• IT certifications in systems administration, security, networking, or related fields.
