What you will do

• Design and implement novel AI/ML solutions for complex healthcare challenges.
• Drive advancements in machine learning and data science to transform healthcare outcomes.
• Balance theoretical research with practical implementation to bring products to market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists, engineers, and product managers.
• Establish best practices for ML experimentation, evaluation, development, and deployment.
• Partner with leadership to define the product roadmap and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in or authorized to work in the USA (Seattle, WA).
• 5+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
• Strong experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Nice to have

• Experience with R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, or scipy.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Specialization in deep learning models specifically for healthcare.
• Experience designing novel NLP/ML architectures, including pretraining and fine-tuning.
• Experience applying causal inference techniques in AI/ML systems.
