What you will do

• Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle from problem identification and data exploration to model development and deployment.
• Develop and iterate on AI/ML prototypes using GenAI, deep learning, and a mix of structured and unstructured data sources.
• Apply statistical methods, experimental design, and evaluation techniques to measure business impact.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover behavioral signals and opportunities for automation.
• Build and evaluate diverse models including regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders to translate ambiguous needs into AI-enabled solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, ML Scientist, or AI/ML Engineer.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries.
• Practical knowledge of deep learning, neural networks, and GenAI/LLM concepts.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (as indicated by 401k and US benefit offerings).

Nice to have

• Experience with NLP, conversational AI, time-series modeling, or recommendation systems.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Glue, Athena, or Redshift.
• Experience with Big Data tools like Spark, Iceberg, or dbt.
• Knowledge of retail, e-commerce, or customer care domains.
• Master's degree with specialization in AI/ML or Data Science.
