TL;DR
Senior Scrum Master (Financial Services): Leading up to two Scrum teams in a large-scale financial services transformation programme with an accent on Agile delivery, Scrum maturity, and hybrid or offshore team coordination. Focus on managing complex change initiatives, integrating Agile and Waterfall delivery, and driving projects from requirements through launch.
Location: Brussels, Belgium, with 8 days per month on site

What you will do
- Lead up to two Scrum teams across local, hybrid, and offshore delivery environments.
- Coordinate Scrum roles, ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage requests, prioritize backlogs, and support change.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile practices and improve Scrum maturity.
- Define governance, scope, deliverables, responsibilities, and project feasibility.
- Manage delivery across requirements, design, build, testing, acceptance, and launch, including supplier coordination when required.
Requirements
- Must work from Brussels, Belgium, with 8 days per month on site.
- Experience in wholesale financial markets, ideally with UK equities or bond settlement.
- Certified Scrum Master with proven experience delivering change in a Scrum Master role.
- Experience managing hybrid or offshore teams and leading at least two teams.
- Strong experience delivering medium- to large-scale projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with people management, direct team leadership, and stakeholder management in a matrix environment.
Nice to have
- PRINCE2 or PMI project management certification.
