Contracts Manager (Construction)

Location: Onsite in Mons, Belgium

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate contractors' day-to-day site activities across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and documentation.
• Review contract scope, technical documentation, pricing details, construction programmes, method statements, permits, and risk controls.
• Lead contractor coordination meetings, review reports, manage interfaces, and coordinate planned work with other stakeholders.
• Monitor inspections, testing, quality plans, technical submissions, RFIs, samples, first-of-kind approvals, and construction records.
• Manage system walkdowns, punch lists, construction close-out, red-line documentation, and turnover to the client or commissioning and qualification team.
• Identify field variations, scope changes, claims, additional costs, and contractor efficiency issues, advising the relevant construction and contract management leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or an exceptionally strong trades background.
• At least 20 years of experience in construction services.
• Essential experience in life sciences and/or mission critical sectors.
• Essential experience managing large construction packages.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of French, English, and Dutch; the role is onsite in Mons, Belgium.
