Contracts Manager (Construction)

Location: Onsite in Mons, Belgium

What you will do

• Monitor contractor site activities and coordinate delivery against safety, quality, schedule, cost, and documentation requirements.
• Promote construction safety practices, review method statements and permit applications, and participate in safety audits and meetings.
• Coordinate contractor work plans, weekly meetings, lookaheads, interfaces, and commissioning activities.
• Inspect construction work, monitor quality plans, review RFIs and submittals, and maintain project documentation and red-line records.
• Manage walkdowns, punch lists, construction closeout, and system turnover to the client or commissioning and qualification team.
• Review field variations, claims, extra costs, contractor correspondence, manpower loading, and contract performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or an exceptionally strong trades background.
• At least 20 years of experience in the construction services sector.
• Essential experience in the Life Sciences and/or Mission Critical sectors.
• Essential experience managing large construction packages.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of French, English, and Dutch.
