What you will do

• Investigate trade surveillance alerts for potential wash trading, spoofing, layering, and insider trading.
• Analyze trading activity across order books and venues to identify manipulative patterns and coordinated schemes.
• Conduct due diligence on new tokens, evaluating tokenomics, liquidity, and smart contract risks.
• Utilize AI-assisted surveillance tooling and LLMs to optimize alert triage and risk pattern detection.
• Ensure surveillance coverage aligns with CFTC, SEC, MiCA, and MAS regulations.
• Maintain audit-ready records and compile metrics on alert volumes and investigation efficiency.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of direct experience in trade surveillance or market abuse investigations within digital assets, fintech, or brokerage.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Criminology, Law, or a related field.
• Proficiency with surveillance platforms and transaction monitoring systems.
• Experience with AI-augmented workflows and prompt-driven analysis.
• Must be based in New York City, NY.
