Location: Must be based in the USA. Candidates located in New York are required to be in person twice a week at the NYC office.

Salary: $129,500 - $185,000

What you will do

• Mature the compliance governance framework, including committee structures, policy review cycles, and escalation protocols.
• Prepare the annual AML and Sanctions Compliance Risk Assessment and identify inherent risks and control effectiveness.
• Champion the application of AI and automation tools to enhance complaint handling and governance reporting.
• Oversee the AML quality assurance program and develop risk-based annual testing plans for BSA/AML and Sanctions.
• Manage the end-to-end regulatory customer complaint program, including root-cause analysis and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve escalated complaints and report trends to compliance leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (J.D. or relevant advanced degree is a plus).
• 6+ years of compliance experience, including direct experience in complaints handling and/or second-line compliance testing.
• Strong working knowledge of regulatory expectations regarding BSA/AML and Sanctions compliance.
• Experience preparing materials for and presenting to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Willingness and ability to utilize AI tools in daily workflows with sound judgment on sensitive data.

• Experience with digital asset compliance.
• Experience with compliance case-management or GRC tooling.
