What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the market abuse surveillance framework covering MAR, MiFID II/MiFIR, and MiCAR.
• Lead investigations into surveillance alerts and file Suspicious Transaction and Order Reports (STORs) with regulators.
• Drive high-autonomy cross-functional projects, including surveillance system tuning and transaction reporting reviews.
• Design compliance policies, procedures, and tools, including insider list management and surveillance alert logic.
• Partner with Trading, Legal, Risk, and Product teams to deliver strategic compliance outcomes.
• Represent the firm during regulatory interactions, inspections, and thematic reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant compliance or surveillance experience within a MiFID II-regulated company.
• Deep practical knowledge of MAR, MiFID II/MiFIR, and related technical standards (e.g., RTS 22).
• Hands-on experience overseeing trade surveillance systems and managing the full investigation lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex order book, trade, and communications data.
• Proven experience in owning and contributing to compliance policies and surveillance logic.
• Ability to engage directly with regulators and senior stakeholders under time pressure.
