Engineer, IT - IT Infrastructure

Engineer, IT - IT Infrastructure (CMDB): Governing and continuously improving configuration data, assets, integrations, and service management processes with an accent on CMDB integrity, CSDM alignment, and operational reporting. Focus on coordinating discovery and data imports, enforcing process controls, scheduling audits, and solving data quality and governance challenges across IT operations.

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate CI and asset discovery, integrations, and other CMDB data import methods.
• Manage configuration health, service dashboards, documentation, work instructions, and process changes.
• Deploy and govern the Configuration Management process, including controls, standards, metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Plan and conduct CMDB and process audits, track corrective actions, and maintain data quality through regular housekeeping.
• Manage CMDB population, access levels, impact analysis reports, and management information.
• Coordinate training for new Configuration Coordinators and collaborate with other IT processes and business functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with configuration data, CMDB processes, asset discovery, integrations, and data governance.
• Strong analytical, written, technical communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, drive process improvements, and work effectively across business functions.
• Must be able to work remotely within the United States; occasional travel may be required, and the role includes the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
