Quality Technician

What you will do

• Perform quality inspections for incoming, in-process, and final assembly materials and products specific to manufacturing processes.
• Document non-conformities, lead 8D investigations, and follow up on corrective actions using the non-conformance reporting system.
• Track KPIs, analyze cost of quality data, and prepare monthly quality performance reports.
• Drive continuous improvement using DOE, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Participate in formulating quality standards, policies, and procedures; guide teams in quality discipline.
• Provide technical support for analytic products and interact with suppliers to improve quality.

Requirements

• 5-7 years experience in quality position in manufacturing environment
• Associates or technical degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical)
• Experience with multimeters, calipers, micrometers, thread/pin gages, optical comparator
• Experience with ERP software, incoming inspection, sheet metal/busbar fabrication, electrical wiring standards
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Previous experience in ISO 9001 certified company; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
