What you will do

• Lead the US and Global privacy strategy, providing strategic vision for data protection programs.
• Mentor and manage the privacy legal team, including attorneys and paraprofessionals.
• Develop legal strategies to navigate healthcare privacy laws in the context of cutting-edge AI technologies.
• Scale a privacy framework compliant with GDPR, HIPAA, and local regulations for international expansion.
• Oversee enterprise-wide privacy risk assessments and implement "Privacy by Design" in the product lifecycle.
• Manage response strategies for data incidents and maintain internal and external privacy policies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one state bar.
• 12+ years of legal experience, with 8+ years focused on data privacy, security, and healthcare law.
• Professional privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT.
• Deep expertise in HIPAA/HITECH, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA.
• Experience with the privacy complexities of AI and machine learning in regulated industries.
• Proven track record of scaling privacy teams in high-growth global technology environments.
