Data Protection Officer (AI)

TL;DR

Data Protection Officer (Legal/AI): Leading the global privacy program and embedding responsible AI into product development with an accent on compliance frameworks and risk management. What you will do

• Own and improve the ISO-certified Privacy Program and lead the Privacy Team.
• Monitor and apply privacy compliance requirements across all global locations and points of sale.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed privacy and responsible AI principles into new features.
• Conduct and supervise DPIAs, LIAs, and TIAs to mitigate compliance risks.
• Provide privacy consultancy at all business levels and manage data breach incident responses.
• Coordinate with data protection authorities and data subjects regarding personal data processing.

Requirements

• Significant international experience in data protection and privacy within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Practical experience as a Data Protection Officer or in a similar statutory privacy role.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR and US privacy regulations (CCPA, CPRA).
• Strong understanding of how AI and machine learning systems use data and their associated privacy considerations.
• Experience applying Privacy by Design principles to software and AI feature development.
• Legal right to work in Estonia without visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ISO 27701 or other privacy certification frameworks.
• CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM or an equivalent privacy certification.
• Knowledge of AI-specific risks such as data leakage and bias in training data.
• Background in data governance or experience with MLOps and data engineering teams.
• Experience in the CRM or B2B SaaS industry.
