Senior Consulting Manager, Account Dedicated Team, Visa Consulting & Analytics (Payments)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end consulting engagements for hirify.global’s clients in Japan, supporting portfolio growth and profitability across payment businesses.
• Design engagement scopes, objectives, deliverables, workplans, stakeholder structures, interview guides, and data requirements.
• Build fact bases through client interviews, documentation reviews, and analysis of hirify.global and client data.
• Benchmark client performance against industry averages and identify improvement opportunities using quantitative methodologies.
• Develop and present recommendations, analytical models, methodologies, and thought leadership, collaborating with data science and global functional teams.
• Support implementation of recommendations and client initiatives through project management and problem-solving frameworks.

Requirements

• Full professional Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
• At least 10 years of experience and a strong track record in strategy consulting or corporate strategy.
• Experience managing multiple projects, building client relationships, and working collaboratively across cultures and functions.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify key issues, develop and test hypotheses, and translate analytics into actionable recommendations.
• High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and the ability to innovate solutions to business problems.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, retail banking, or technology.
• Understanding of the end-to-end B2C payments landscape within financial institutions or related ecosystems.
• PMP certification or experience in technical project management.
