Senior IT Consultant - Cyber Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Tokyo, Japan. Work is primarily remote, with office attendance and customer-site visits as required.

What you will do

• Act as the primary counterpart for customer security organizations and lead security service proposals and consulting delivery.
• Strengthen security governance and drive security initiatives across customer organizations, group companies, business partners, and overseas locations.
• Develop and deploy security standards and management processes, primarily for IT infrastructure environments.
• Establish and maintain governance, manage risks, improve compliance, and lead audit responses.
• Propose and implement initiatives and solutions addressing evolving cyber threats and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with customer security teams and internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a security consultant, or in security governance, risk management and compliance, or project management for security initiatives.
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including operating systems, networks, and cloud environments.
• Basic knowledge of information security and cybersecurity.
• Ability to work primarily remotely while attending the office and visiting customer sites as required.

Nice to have

• CRISC, CGEIT, CERA, CISA, CISSP, or CCSP certification.
• TOEIC score of 730 or above.
