Principal AI & Data Consultant (AI & Data Consulting)

What you will do

• Develop AI and data strategies and support implementation across business divisions.
• Lead transformation initiatives spanning multiple businesses and departments.
• Drive business improvement through AI, machine learning, data platforms, business intelligence, and automation.
• Bridge executives, business leaders, frontline managers, and engineers to align priorities and build consensus.
• Plan and manage project budgets while maximizing return on investment.
• Support group-wide AI process standardization and cross-business initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical experience in strategy or general consulting, or in business-company DX or AI promotion.
• Experience driving transformation projects involving multiple businesses or departments.
• Experience connecting executives, business leaders, frontline managers, and engineers.
• Ability to structure complex issues, create actionable roadmaps, integrate diverse expectations, and lead consensus-building.
• Advanced English and Japanese proficiency required.
• Willingness to develop toward future team management while continuing to deliver as an individual contributor.

Nice to have

• Management experience with a team of five or more members.
• Experience working with global or multinational stakeholders.
• Experience taking AI and data initiatives from proof of concept through production implementation, operational adoption, and KPI improvement.
• Experience in internal consulting, a Center of Excellence, or a Transformation Office.
• Experience planning or managing departmental budgets.
