Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote working is available only within Slovakia, while the role operates within the European Union to meet customer data security and privacy requirements.

Salary: Negotiable base salary starting from €1,850 gross per month, plus a variable component and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scale cloud backend.
• Develop and enhance the Open Telekom Cloud platform with a customer-oriented approach.
• Work hands-on with hardware and cloud infrastructure at the console.
• Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance solutions.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using common automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with specialists in an open, agile, and supportive environment.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
• Degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training.
• Very good knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
• Extensive infrastructure automation experience and strong Linux and network services knowledge.
• Customer focus, ability to evaluate technical solutions, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English; work must be performed within the European Union, with remote work limited to Slovakia.

Nice to have

• OpenStack experience.
• Programming experience in open-source projects.
• Knowledge of agile development processes.
