Go Developer (Fintech)

Location: Remote, office, or hybrid work available in Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, or Ukraine.

Salary: EUR 2,900–4,550 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Build and evolve a real-time cross-selling platform for personalized insurance offers.
• Develop backend services and advance a gRPC-based microservice architecture supporting multiple user-facing applications.
• Design and maintain REST and gRPC integrations with insurance platforms and third-party risk scoring, KYC, and payment services.
• Model transactional PostgreSQL data for policies, claims, customer records, audit trails, and historical records.
• Implement reliable event-driven workflows with RabbitMQ or Kafka for claims, policy updates, and notifications.
• Improve testing, observability, scalability, availability, resilience, and architectural maintainability while collaborating with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps in Agile/Scrum.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience, including 3+ years of production Go development.
• Strong Go and concurrency experience building high-volume, resilient applications for financial or insurance transactions.
• Experience with Docker, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ or Kafka, gRPC/REST APIs, and Grafana/Prometheus.
• Experience with AI and implementing or configuring AI within a team.
• Experience in fintech or banking and with complex integrations; insurance experience is desirable.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher is required.
