Lead Go Developer (AI)

Location: Remote, hybrid, or office-based within Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, or Ukraine.

Salary: €3,850–€5,700 gross per month, depending on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Design and evolve scalable distributed systems in Go, selecting concurrency models that balance performance and maintainability.
• Work with Product Managers to convert business goals into technical plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Identify edge cases, technical risks, and implementation constraints during planning.
• Represent engineering in external stakeholder meetings and explain technical topics in business-oriented terms.
• Lead code reviews for senior engineers and maintain standards for code quality, resilience, and reliability.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes to support faster, safer delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Go development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Higher education in Computer Science, software development, or a related field.
• Extensive experience working with AI and implementing or configuring AI within a team.
• Experience in fintech or banking and with complex integrations.
• Strong knowledge of scalable distributed backend design, Go concurrency patterns, high-performance system design, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Advanced English or higher required.
