What you will do

• Develop distributed network virtualization software running on the Linux networking stack.
• Build and maintain networking and security applications in C and C++20 or higher.
• Design reliable concurrent systems using modern C++ concepts and memory ordering.
• Work with network protocols, routing, sockets, encryption, authentication, and public-key infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely within a small, self-managed engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in computer networking and/or network security.
• Strong C and C++ expertise, including C++20 or higher, networking applications, security applications, and CMake.
• Understanding of RAII, concurrency, and memory ordering.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, sockets, IP routing, TLS, PKI, encryption, and authentication.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global, OpenSSL, IPsec, Asio, Rust, AWS, or Linux kernel development.
